The No Brand Con Road Show is officially, well, on the road again! This weekend, November 7th-9th 2025, you’ll find us at Aquatifur! Long time No Brand Heroes may notice it’s at a very familiar venue, our former home in the Wisconsin Dells: the Chula Vista Resort.
If you’re there, stop on by our table and say hi! We’ll have folks there to tell you all about the con and help you preregister for the event if you want to!
It’s official – preregistration for No Brand Con 2026 is now open! For $40 (which is $10 off the at-door price) you can now purchase a weekend badge for our twenty-first No Brand Con. Preregistering is the best way to guarantee the best No Brand Con experience this spring, with faster check in at con.
For people who have asked about Sponsorship information, we will be rolling that out in the following weeks once we finalize details of this year’s sponsorship package.
We’re excited to announce that panel submissions for No Brand Con 2026 are now open! Whether you want to plunge into in-depth analysis of your favorite series, hear bizarre industry stories you’d never expect, or just want some cosplay tips, it’s the a great way to spend your time. Importantly though, many of our panels are actually provided by our attendees just like you.
Fan run panels often provide the highlights of the convention, and we couldn’t do this without them. We also consider time hosting a panel as “double Volunteer hours,” which means hosting an hour long panel counts as two hours of volunteer time.

We’re excited to announce that not only is No Brand Con back, but that we’re returning to Eau Claire, WI as well! That’s right, No Brand Con XXI will be held May 1-3, 2026 at the Lismore Hotel.
No Brand Con started in Eau Claire, WI back in 2002, and we ran our first fourteen conventions here. And while we spent five cons in the Wisconsin Dells (and one year in Stevens Point), it’s continued to be our home. This is where our organization is based, and this is will always be our home. Moving to the Lismore is also a bit of a homecoming on its own – this facility (under its prior owners) was host to No Brand Con between 2006 and 2010.
Honestly we’re incredibly excited to be coming back this year, and we’re so happy it’s here.
One of the reasons we didn’t come back earlier is that this space is, honestly, a bit smaller than where we’ve been for a while. We will be scaling things appropriately to match, but I promise you that the experience will still be a full event worthy of the name No Brand Con. Because we’re literally the oldest anime con in Wisconsin (and the fourth oldest still operating anime con in the midwest), we know that we’re many attendee’s “first” convention. We’re determined to give you the big experience, and one heck of a “funn” time.
(Does anyone else remember that Chippewa Valley tourism campaign, or is it just us? It’s just us? Okay. Cool.)

Hey, No Brand Heroes. We’ve been putting off this announcement as long as we could, but as many of you have guessed we’re now making it official: There will not be a No Brand Con 2024.
I’m going to be as transparent as possible. No one is more disappointed that we won’t be running a con this year than we are. While our 2023 event was a ton of fun, and (at least based on attendee surveys) a pretty great little con, we missed our attendance targets by a wide margin. And when I say “wide,” I mean wide.
Like by fifty percent.

No Brand Con, besides being an amazing anime convention, is also home to the No Brand Heroes and their adventures. While these stories usually just play out at Opening Ceremonies and the Cosplay contest, since this year’s story was told exclusively through short films shown at these events, we’ve decided to put this year’s story online afterwards — so everyone who missed it can catch up!
The video embedded is the version that played at the Cosplay Contest, which contains all of the segments. Keep that context in mind though when title cards like “yesterday” and “today” pop up on screen.

Thank you all for an amazing No Brand Con 2023 this weekend! It was amazing seeing you all in Stevens Point, and we had an amazing time.
Right now we’re all recovering, but we’d be remiss not to ask you what YOU think about the con this year. So, as always, we’re rolling out a 2023 edition of our annual survey. So please, give us your thoughts and tell us what you liked the most about this year, and also tell us where you think we can improve.

No Brand Con 2023 is almost upon us! With that in mind, we decided to share with you the official program guide for this year’s con!
