The No Brand Con Road Show Comes to Anime Milwaukee 2020!

The No Brand Con Road Show is making another stop, and this time it’s at Anime Milwaukee! That’s right, we’re going to be in downtown Milwaukee this weekend (Feb. 14-16), as AMKE puts on its thirteenth (and a half) convention at the Wisconsin Center and Hilton.

If you find us while you’re there, we’d love to hang out and say hello. You can, of course, also preregister for No Brand Con 2020 at our Ambassador Table too for our Road Show price of only $20. This is likely our last stop before the con this year, so it may be your final chance to get this incredibly low rate!

If you’re coming to AMKE, we hope to see you there!

Have You Joined the No Brand Con Discord Yet?

We know one of the best things about attending cons are all of the personal connections and friends we make while we’re there, and we wanted to remind you that there’s a great way to connect with your fellow congoers (and our staff) through the No Brand Con Discord server!

Using the Discord App on your smartphone or computer, you can communicate in real time with us and your friends at the convention. Just follow our invite link and get started!

The Road Show Comes to UWEC Geek Con This Saturday!

The No Brand Con road show is heading out again! This Saturday, November 23rd, you will be able to find us at UWEC Geek Con in Eau Claire, WI. UWEC Geek Con will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Davies Center from 10am-5pm, with admission free to UWEC students, $5 to the public, or free with a donation of a two non-perishables.

At our table you’ll be able to pre-register at our $20 road show rate, and we think it’ll be a lot of fun. And remember, if you can’t get there, you can still preregister for the $20 rate this weekend online since we’re running our Daisho-to-Cyber Monday sale from November 22nd and December 2nd!

Hope to see you there!

Announcing our (Annual) Daisho Con/Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale!

This upcoming weekend Daisho Con will be taking place in the Wisconsin Dells, but unfortunately our No Brand Con road show won’t be there again this year. We know that can be disappointing since it’s one of the few places attendees have been able to take advantage of our $20 road show rate. We really don’t like disappointing our attendees though…

…so, like last year, we’ve decided to offer it to you online instead.

That’s right — During Daisho Con 2019 we’ll be offering our $20 preregistration rate online again. That rate is usually only available online during our annual Black Friday to Cyber Monday sale. Of course, with Black Friday only coming up a week later, we’ve decided that rather than have the price go up for a few days in the middle, we’ll just extend the sale for the week inbetween! Again! Exactly like we did last year!

All you have to do to take advantage of this rate is go to our online registration page between November 22nd and December 2nd and take advantage of the rate!

We limit each year to only twenty-five sponsor badges, but all you have to do to purchase one for yourself is to go to our registration page and select the sponsor tier. If you’ve already preregistered and would like to upgrade your badge, contact our registration team at sales@nobrandcon.org to make the upgrade.

Get your badge today, and have your best con possible!

Panel Applications For No Brand Con 2020 Are Now Open!

Panels are always a big part of any No Brand Con experience. Whether you want to plunge into in-depth analysis of your favorite series, hear bizarre industry stories you’d never expect, or just want some cosplay tips, it’s the a great way to spend your time. Many of our panels are actually provided by our attendees just like you too.

Fan run panels often provide the highlights of the convention, and we couldn’t do this without them. We also consider time hosting a panel as “double Volunteer hours,” which means hosting an hour long panel counts as two hours of volunteer time.

If you’re interested in submitting a panel for No Brand Con 2020, you can head on over to our Panels page. There you’ll find the rules along with our online submission form.

We’re excited to find out what you want to do!

Interested in Joining No Brand Con Staff? Come to Our Open Meeting This Week!

No Brand Con is a completely volunteer run event, and we’re always looking for more people to join the team. Conventions like ours don’t happen without ordinary people like you (and me) pitching in, and if you’ve ever wanted to staff a convention now’s a great time to start.

This week on Thursday, September 19th, No Brand Con is having an open staff meeting for new members in Eau Claire, WI. It starts at 8:00pm in the Menomonee room of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Davies Center.

Joining staff has plenty of perks, and is frankly a ton of fun. Consider stopping by and becoming one of the No Brand Heroes!

(Regular meetings continue at 8pm on Thursday nights at other locations – if you can’t make this meeting and would like to join staff please email us for more information)
