We’re happy to announce our next round of confirmed guests for NBC X this upcoming April!
First are Chris Seward and Matthew Taranto, the two talented guys behind the video game based web comic knows as Brawl in the Family. This will be their first trip to NoBrandCon and we’re excited to have them as our Art guests this year.
Second is Brent Black aka brentalfloss. Brent is a talented singer and lyricist who adds comedic lyrics to video game music. Feel free to check out his website and youtube channel to see some of his work!
Lastly, but not least, we have the lovely Colleen Clinkenbeard. Colleen is a hard working voice actress and ADR director who works for Funimation and has lent her voice to many anime series over the past several years.

It’s a new year and we’re ready to announce our first Guest of Honor for NBC X! None other than the lovely Monica Rial! This will be her third time at NoBrandCon as she was a Guest of Honor at NBC III in 2004 & NBC IV in 2005. Feel free to check out our Guests page for her bio. We’ll be making more guest announcements among other things in the coming weeks as we lead up to NBC X, so stay tuned!
Hello there one and all. Are you an aspiring video effects editor? Do you have an incredible love of music, anime, and a method of combining them both? Or, do you simply have some extra free time and needed a funn activity? Well, either way the people at No Brand Con would love to see what you’ve come up with.
Once again, No Brand will be hosting a room party at DaishoCon. That is this weekend, November 19 & 20, both Friday and Saturday nights. Look for our signs around the Con for our room number. Be sure to stop by, because we will be offering an early-bird special weekend registration price of $25 for No Brand Con X! We will also be selling our new navy No Brand Hero zip-up Hoodies for $30. We are hoping to see you all there!

While NoBrandCon will be celebrating it’s tenth anniversary next Spring, another one of our yearly events will be celebrating it’s fifth anniversary this upcoming weekend. STEAK V (NBC’s Fall gaming event) will be occurring this weekend, October 16-17 at the UWEC Davies Center on the second floor in the skylight lounge area. Established in 2006 by some of NoBrand’s dedicated table gaming staff, this event has since grown to include a video game room and viewing theater on top of the usual table gaming as well. The NoBrandCon staff put on this event to help bridge the gap between our yearly conventions and to have some fun during the slower Fall months before ramping up and getting ready for NoBrandCon in the Spring.
