Hey folks! Just a quick reminder that we’re requiring all attendees for No Brand Con 2022 to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, and to show proof of vaccination at the event. Remember, to be considered fully vaccinated it must be two weeks after the second shot of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine (or the one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine), which means you must receive it prior to April 8th.

With the Moderna vaccine, there is a required four weeks between shot one and two, and with the Pfizer vaccine there is a three week break. That means if you haven’t yet been vaccinated, but still intend on attending, you need to schedule your vaccination as soon as possible. The latest you could get your first Moderna vaccination is March 11th, and for the Pfizer vaccine it’s March 18th.

At this time we are highly recommending a booster for people who were vaccinated more than five months ago as well, though we have yet to decide if that will be a requirement. We’re excited to run as safe an event as possible, and we can only get there if everyone pitches in.

(Update: To clarify since there’s some confusion, we are accepting J&J vaccinations – we just wanted to post a reminder for folks planning to still get a Pfizer or Moderna vaccination that the process can take 5-6 weeks to be considered fully vaccinated so they could plan accordingly.)
