No Brand Con DJs!
Two of No Brand Con’s DJs have been announced for the two dances at No Brand Con 2015! We’ve got DJ Liquid 86 and DJ Jinrei! They’re no strangers of No Brand Con, bringing the best Electro House known to the Wisconsin Convention scene!
This year we’ve also got two DJs who are “new” to No Brand Con’s Dance who we will be announcing at a later date! Stay tuned!
DJ Announcement: DJ Liquid86!
A veteran anime convention DJ from the frozen north of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Liquid86 has been spinning for over 10 years. Beginning his journey back in 2001 with Trance music and evolving into Electro and Progressive House, Liquid has played a variety of shows, raves, and room parties for geeks all over the upper Midwest. A former con rave director and podcaster himself, he is honored to be bringing his filthy Electro beats to No Brand Con once again!
DJ Announcement: DJ Jinrei!
Andre Smith, better known under the alias ‘Jinrei’ (pronounced JIN-RAY), broke into the scene in 2005, working under the long-running promotion ‘Nostalgia.LA’ with his live mixing on vinyl. Jinrei is originally from Bristol, England, and grew up partially here in the US, in a Korean district of San Francisco where he became involved in Korean music, and then later Japanese dance pop, which was one of the biggest influences on his work. Later, working with other promotions and headlining DJs, Jinrei mastered his craft with everything EDM, from dance fusions to French house with Japanese/Korean original remixes. Having done shows with Cosmic Gate, DJ Amaya, ZEDD, DJ Diamond, Steve Aoki, and many more big names, as well as running his own nights in LA, OC, and Vegas, Jinrei has become a well-seasoned veteran in putting people on the dance floor, whether setting the mood lounge-style, or hitting the room with rare bangers for a high-energy crowd.
Attendance Cap
Have you registered for No Brand Con yet? Because not only did we sell out the hotel last year, we were less than 100 attendees away from being at the hotel’s capacity! Do you know what that means? If we get too many more people, we may have to turn people away at the door!
